About

Pages for Pediatrics (PFP) is a California-registered 501(c)3 nonprofit that writes, illustrates, and donates children’s storybooks on pediatric illness and disability.

Our Mission

Our team understands that many pediatric patients may struggle to navigate and cope with the social and emotional challenges of their health conditions. To help alleviate patient anxiety, we center our children’s storybooks on characters and narratives that pediatric patients can relate to as a means of instilling hope, comfort, and solidarity in our readers.

Through narrative mirroring, our books aim to normalize patient adversity, advocate for disability representation, and combat stigma toward pediatric health conditions in the broader community. We work towards this mission by donating our children’s storybooks to children’s hospitals and elementary schools nationwide.

We appreciate your support of our mission and look forward to creating more storybooks that help foster inclusivity, positivity, and acceptance of pediatric health conditions in children’s literary space.

Sincerely,
